It looks like not everyone in as in love with baby Eric Cowell as his father Simon is. 

Because it sounds like the music mogul’s 13-month-old child was the cause of ire for one ‘grumpy’ passenger on a flight from London to Miami on Thursday.

Simon hit out at his fellow flyer via his Twitter page when he touched down in Florida, writing: ‘Just arrived in Miami. The @British_Airways team were great. Eric travelled with us but one really really grumpy man complained. A Lot!’

The X Factor judge continued: ‘He asked to be moved. Complained to the staff. And there was a lot of sighing and tutting. The other passengers were amazing.’

Simon was travelling with his son and girlfriend Lauren Silverman to the States from London having enjoyed some cultural nights on the town with his baby mama. 

On Saturday night he treated Silverman to dinner at their favourite Mr Chow restaurant after bagging some of London’s most sought-after tickets for the Play That Goes Wrong.

Simon, 55, looked chuffed with Lauren, 37, on his arm in a little black dress after it was revealed that the music mogul had been dealing out relationship advice to Britain’s Got Talent pal David Walliams, who has reportedly split with wife of four years Lara Stone.

Simon smirked on leaving the restaurant in his usual white shirt and wide-legged trousers combination.

Lauren, the mother of his one-year-old son Eric, dutifully clutched his round-frame glasses with her handbag tucked under one arm.

She was wearing her Christian Louboutin heels for date night and it looked like her hair had been especially coiffed into glossy ringlets around her shoulders.

Her curves were particularly well dressed in the daring LBD, which cut away into tiny skin-flashing dots in patterns across the arms and thighs.

Simon was clearly impressed with his choice of date night venues and tweeted about The Dutchess Theatre show that they had attended before dinner.

He said of the Cornley Polytechnic’s Drama Society play: ‘I just saw @playgoeswrong It is incredibly funny. And it was sold out.’

The music boss and Britain’s Got Talent judge admitted to dealing some wise words on love to old pal Walliams at the weekend, after it emerged that he and wife Lara were on a ‘trial separation.’

Speaking to The Huffington Post on the red carpet at the Prince’s Trust Celebrates Success Awards on Friday afternoon, Simon revealed: ‘I said to him, “you’re not the only person in this situation.” That’s a cliche thing to say but it’s true. Don’t feel too sorry for yourself.

The X Factor boss appeared to confirm the split, which until now has been unconfirmed by representatives for the model and the comic, and even helped out hope for a reconciliation. 

Simon continued: ‘It’s bad news and I feel bad for him but he has to carry on with his life. She’s a nice girl… they’ll work it out.’
