Please Stop Giving Your Fifty Shades Books to Charity.
A charity bookstore called Oxfam in Swansea, U.K., is pleading with locals to please stop donating their copies of the Fifty Shades books to them. They literally have enough (hundreds, according to Metro) of them to build a fort with.
Owner of the store Phil Broadhurst captioned the above photo showing part of the Fifty Shadesfort, “We appreciate all your donations, but less Fifty Shades and more Sixties and Seventies vinyl would be good :).” Again, he insisted in a later post, anything but Fifty Shades:
“Enough is enough,” Broadhurst told Metro. The store has begun donating all copies of the books they receive to Goldstone Books, a secondhand book chain that will either sell them online or tell them, “Laters, baby.” (By which I mean recycle.) (They will recycle the books.)
