For $100,000, This Company Will Guarantee You a Rain-Free Wedding
Brides, you’re in luck. You can finally control that one aspect of the wedding day that’s eluded you since the dawn of time: the weather.
Luxury travel company Oliver’s Travels promises it can guarantee the perfect wedding weather – for the low, low price of $100,000. But, it’s small cost for perfection.
How do they do it? The technique is called “cloud seeding” and involves using silver iodide to cause clouds to burst and disappear – leaving you with a rain-free wedding day (freak natural disasters excluded).
But isn’t that harmful to the environment? Not at all, according to the company’s website. In fact, cloud seeding was used during the 2008 Beijing Olympics and Prince William and Kate Middleton‘s wedding in 2012, the Telegraph reports.
“We pride ourselves on our innovative approach, and are thrilled to be able to offer such an unusual, unique service to our customers, to ensure their wedding is the talk of the town,” Oliver’s Travels co-founder Oliver Bell told the British newspaper.
So don’t let rain clouds get you down again: Because the only cloud at your wedding should be Cloud 9.
One restriction: The service is currently only available when you book at one of the company’s chateaux in France.
