Bruce Jenner’s tell-all ‘gender transition’ interview with Diane Sawyer airs tonight
A final preview clip from Bruce Jenner’s much anticipated interview with Diane Sawyer has been released ahead of the Friday night special.
And the interview promises to be an emotional one, with the former Olympian expected to confirm the widespread reports that he is transitioning into a female.
The latest sneak peek from the programme aired on Good Morning America on Friday, and showed an emotional Bruce admit he ‘hopes’ he will be alright.

Diane Sawyer, who appeared on the morning talk show to promote Bruce Jenner: The Interview, is seen asking the 65-year-old: ‘What’s the question you would ask you?’
Bruce replied: ‘If I were you, what question would you ask me? Are you going to be OK, you know?’
And when Diane posed the question back to him, he pondered it for a few moments before answering.
‘Yeah. I hope I’m going to be OK,’ Bruce said. ‘I feel like I’m going to be OK. 2015 is going to be quite a ride. Quite a ride.’

Although there has been lots of speculation surrounding the interview, Diane refused to confirm that it will be about Bruce’s alleged transition – explaining that it is his tale to tell.
‘I think we can all agree that some stories should only be told by the person who lives them,’ she said. ‘And he wants to speak directly tonight, so I’m going to let him say first what he wants to say, but we did talk over several days, long conversations.’
After the sneak peek clip was shown, Diane revealed what she hopes viewers will take away from the interview.

‘I hope people talk with other people, with families, with friends, because there is so much to think about,’ the 69-year-old said. ‘Not just about what he is going to tell you but about everyone’s life.
‘And also we talked to members of his family, including his older sister who tells us what she saw when they were growing up. And I think you’re going to learn about family love. This is a family love story.’
Bruce’s older children; Burt, 36 and Casey, 34, (from his marriage to Chrystie Crownover) along with Brandon, 33, and Brody, 31, (from his marriage to Linda Thompson) will all feature on the show.
He is also dad to Kendall, 19, and Kylie, 17, from his marriage to Kris Jenner, during which time he was stepfather to Kourtney, 36, Kim, 34, Khloe, 30, and Rob Kardashian, 28.

Previous promo clips have shown the athlete admit his priority is his family, telling Diane: ‘I can’t let myself hurt them. They’re the only ones I’m concerned with.’
He also says during the interview. ‘My whole life has been getting ready for this … I wanna know how this story ends, you know? How does my story end?’
A preview released on Thursday showed Bruce greeting Diane at his home, and appearing somewhat anxious as he tells her: ‘It’s going to be an emotional rollercoaster, but somehow I’m gonna get through it.’
Bruce Jenner: The Interview airs on ABC on Friday 24 April at 9/8C.
